I’ve got a 2017 estate which has a manual  steering column setting. For some reason the other day it simply stopped allowing me to move it up and down, forwards and backwards is fine for some reason.
 

Anyone had this or got any ideas?

IIRC there is a "lever", under the steering column, which allows all of the adjustments (probably the one you are trying to use).

I don't think there any electric controls for the steering column mechanism, so all I can suggest is to release the lever, and tŕy jiggling the steering column to free it up.

thanks for the response.

yeah it’s just a manual lever. Happily goes in and out and mentioned but not up and down. I’ve tried it gently and given it a bit of a push and still nothing.
