Hello,

I have 01/2020 Scala that came with Lane departure Assist, Acc and basically every assist system possible when I was ordering the car.

Recently I activated dynamic lane assist as I was tired of the lane departure assist. I also tried to follow a guide I found online to turn on the Traffic sign recognition. And while I was successful in enabling all the menu options and getting rid of error messages, no traffic signs were ever recognized. I thought I might have the "old" lower resolution camera which was talked about in a lot of online posts and that's the reason why Traffic sign recognition wouldn't work for me. 

I have now however found another page which suggests that traffic sign recognition should be possible with the exact camera I have. Below is excerpt from my VCDS auto-scan of the A5 module.

 

Could somebody help me understand if the HW and SW versions on my camera module are the right ones for Traffic Sign recognition to work? Did anyone else with a similar Scala manage to get Traffic Sign Recognition to work?

I am interested also in this. I have a second hand MY21 Scala SE-L with digital dash and camera but without TSR.

Ive got it going in My 21 Kamiq LE with an Amunsden MIB3 Works ok

Sounds great, did you do this via VCDS or ODB11? the information is confusing. I have the Amunsden with satnav and LKA.

OBD11 will see if I can find instructions as did it nearly 4 years ago
