Rear washer line spraying inside

Featured Replies

I have a skoda octavia 2012. I've replaced the rear wiper motor due to it not working, and on attachment, it doesnt move, feels tight but sprsys water inside. I thought it was the plastic clips not being tight enough, so I purchased new ones. It's still spraying inside. I've found this random black rubber band type thing that comes from the area. I'm not sure where it goes or what it does. But this could be why it's spraying inside? Bit stuck here.

Looks like the rubber seal that goes on spindle on outside of car to seal around glass but other place it could be is does the water feed hose clip into position. It may be the seal between the black plastic bit with four screws and the white/black section after the pipe? Is it a new wiper motor assembly that you fitted or a second hand one?

I think it could go inside the white clip part, however not sure if it'll fit, I am fitting a 2nd hand one
