Gates timing tensioner snapped

Hi guys so what a week?! Monday my car threw a wobbler I’ve only had it a year

Started off with a strange fuel leak on the rail, then randomly at the same time my tension pulley for the timing belt snapped … luckily there is no damage to my engine after slipping two teeth.. has any body else has issues with the gates products ? The garage that installed the cam belt in the first place swear down they have never seen this yet the Audi specialist who did the belt said he’s seen this quite a lot with gates? … I need some answers
