After 12 years one of my dipped beam bulbs expired. I replaced it with an H7 bulb but is the main beam bulb also H7? I bought two spares from the local spares shop but being Lucas I expect them to last 12 months.

Depends which headlamp model/year, but if it is projector dipped and reflector main then yes, both are H7.
