Skoda Superb mk2 - twindoor side motors

Featured Replies

Hello, i have been working on this issue for quite some time and i just can't find a solution. My issue is with the trunk door, with those two side motors that lock the trunk door (sedan or hatchback mode). They are not working, not engaging when the trunk is closed. When i lock the car, i see turn signals flashing once, motor that pulls the trunk (soft close) is working, just those two side motors are not engaging at all. I can manually engage them via vcds (lock or open) and they do function, they are not broken. Also when the car battery is disconnected and reconnected both of those side motors lock, but then the right button doesn't engage them (in that case i need to open them via vcds). Also i need to mention that both of the buttons do exactly the same thing, open the trunk in saloon mode (both of the trunk doors). I did repair the wires in the hatch of the smaller door, inspected everything else that i could think of, but those two side motors are not locking after the trunk is closed. Also im starting to belive that maybe both of those buttons on the trunk are the same (maybe that could be the issue). Cruise control on the steering wheel also doesn't work, could that be connected to the trunk issue?
