SOS call workshop after attempted reverse camera fitting.

Afternoon all, new to me Skoda superb picked up recently, and despite being a ham fisted idiot, I have attempted to fit an ali express reversing camera, following the excellent guide I found on here. Unfortunately this has resulted in an SOS call workshop warning on the dashboard. I have removed the camera, and it is still on the dashboard. I have plugged in an autel diagnostics tablet, and it is telling me there is an open circuit on the mute switch for the radio, but is unable to clear it. Are these problems related, and how can I fix it, or can anyone recommend some one to clear it for me. Am located north west Merseyside area.
