Infotainment blocked

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I am facing an issue on the infotainment on my Octavia 2020. When the engine Is on, the display shows "loading settings" without load anything, and I cannot use radio or Maps or smart link. The function of physical Button work fortunately. When I turni off the engine, a message pop UPS saying "of the next time you Will access using s-pin, the reserved account Will available again". I do not know what that means. I tried soft reset and to reset settings tò manufacturing ones. It works because I Lost all the settings on the lights and so on, but the problem Is still there.

Can anyone help me? I attach some pictures. Thanks

Additional info: I noted that this issue occurred when I installed Traffication pack on the Skoda app, I do not know of this Is correlated. However After the settings reset the app Is not presente anymore...

Is there green light shown next to SOS button on ceiling? If not you could try to remove fuse number 19 from dashboard fusebox and keep it out for few minutes.

This reset the communication module.

Hello @AmadeusOne , Thanks for your replay. As you can see, the green light Is present. Do you think I can try to remove fuse 19 anyway?

I would do that as have got so many problems solved with that and no harm with the action. You can find fuse location from manual and fyi that not all slots are populated so better count from top what fuse it is. Sure there is fuse for infitainment too that could try as well, number is 30.

Hello, I removed fuse 19 and 30 for about 1 hour, and that worked. I was able to access with s-pin and all my settings were there. Thanks a lot!

Happy to help👍
