Lost Communication With NOx Sensor "B"

Featured Replies

Hey, anyon has more information on this fault?

Having check engine one and the fault code is: U029E00

Car 2.0TDI 190HP 2018 late model.

Code can't be erased will come back immediately. It happened right have oil service and filters.

What have you done to fix it and how expensive?

Cheers.

nox sensor b is the sensor at the rear

sensor cost from skoda around £550 plus fitting cost on top

cheaper to get it coded out and you can get it remapped at the same time,

no more adblue filling costs either

adblue systems are more problematic than dpf and egr valves imo

I have found its caused by 'cheap' supermarket fuel, filling up from a 'branded' supplier and 2 tanks later the warning is gone

Had the same error? Only used premium adblue

yep have same error on and off over past 3 years and narrowed it down to the fuel , by fuel i actually mean diesel rather than adblue :-)

They are very sensitive to voltage, id get the battery and alternator checked out.

Really weird, I have always used so called premium fuel and the error won't go away it's been about 2 months now. Never have top up from weird petrol stations or so.
