Heat gun could help but you'd have to be careful

Did they replace top mount and bump stop too, I always lube the shaft and bump stop as it can stick and cause noises.

Usually the guy that fitted them just slapped them on, never cleaned up any corrosion. Could also be a wheel bearing issue or sometimes worn suspension bushes don't help.

So it's done twice the work of the original clutch? Check around clutch pedal/master cylinder for dampness. After that remove the gearbox and asses the clutch.

I wouldn't put XL on that car as the 60 profile and weight doesn't need it
