Tyre Pressures

Featured Replies

Hi ,just changed the wheels on my 2006 Fabia Vrs from the standard 16" to Oz Pallidio 17" with 205 40 17 Toyo Proxes

Question is anyone know the correct pressure for these,at the moment i have inflated them to the reccomended pressures for thr standard 16" wheels shod with 205 45 16 Bridgestone Turanza tyres, but i noticed that the reccomended pressures quoted on the fuel flap showed a difference of .1 of a bar in pressure for cars shod with 15" tyres.

Any advice from you experts out there would be appreciated.

While i am here i am also looking for the following items, must be in good condition

1) Front suspension strut brace

2) Jabbasport ARB

3) Eibach springs and /or dampers to give 25-30 ml.max drop in ride height.i would prefer these items to be new or very low mileage.

Cheers

Pete

The tyre pressures are calculated to axle weight so remain the same. You can experiment a little with pressures dependant on your use but don't stray too far from the recommended amounts.

The 15" wheels might be referring to winter wheels and tyres.

Hi,

Cheers, thanks for that,i thought this was the case but then when checking on the fuel filler cap i began to wonder if indeed i was correct in assuming that pressures remained the same.I will stick with the standard setting and see how it goes.

Thanks for the advice,

Regards

Pete

hi there, when i had my seventeens fitted with same profile tyres as yours the guys from ats said i needed 34psi in them ,but after a couple of days driving around i found them to hard a ride and a bit skittish around corners so played around with the pressures and now i run them at 28 front/29 rear and feels so much better in comfort and cornering, hope this helps
