Does anybody know if it's possible to install a larger/better compressor on the Mk2 Fabia VRS? The air con on mine is almost useless above 25 degrees, and I have to keep the windows open. My car before was a 206 HDi which ironically had really good A/C.

I'm pretty sure I regassed it a few years ago, i've had it 9 years and it gets serviced every year so I've forgotten what I've had done and when.

It sounds like there is something wrong if your air con is not performing very well. There are some things you can monitor and check with VCDS but the first step is to check the refridgerant charge, that the compressor is running well and there are no obvious obstructions to the condenser and that the fan is working ok.
