I have a Skoda Kamiq that I imported to North Africa, due to the European version of the software, the integrated GPS does not work, I found a video on Youtube that explains that it is possible to display the GPS of the Iphone or smartphone via Carplay or AndroidAuto in the cockpit of the car for MIB 2.5 systems,

I would like to know if it is possible to do this for mine instead of the compass on my version MOI3_EU_SKMQB_P30603P.

Mine does that from the factory with the built in Nav As far as I know other mapping systems wont show up in the AID

If your car already supports repeating the map display in the dashboard then it is, maybe, possible.

If you can't repeat the map display in the dashboard at the moment then updating the software might provide the function or it might not.

Not all cars are built exactly the same there are many "under the hood" variations in components that are possible.

You might have more chance asking a local Skoda dealer if you have one.

If the Kamiq is not available in your market via a dealer network then I think you are on an adventure into the unknown.

My advice is to stick with what works.

there is no Skoda dealer in my country.

I'd be happy with Carplay until there's a solution in the future, but I wouldn't take the risk of a full EU software update in RW, it's too risky.
