Some idiot has managed to put a gouge in the rear bumper (well it was me actually ) . It's about an inch long and is quite deep, it's gone through to 'white' which I assume to be the plastic it's made from!.

Question is does anyone have any tips on masking this without going to the expense of a respray?.

You will need to fill the scratch if its deep and then paint over the area, a touchup pen may work if you are a dab hand at painting.

I did this to my car by catching a taxi license plate- i haven't had the time to fix it properly yet- did it months ago- so i bought some wax stuff the same colour as the car and rubbed it in to conceal it for the time being- people that don't know it is there don't tend to see it-
