Octavia 1.6tdi Campaign 23AX

Featured Replies

I'm going to get a new key coded to my Skoda Octavia 1.6TDI 2016. While there the dealer wants to do an emissions update to the ECU which I presume is the Campaign 23AX mentioned in old posts.

Just wondering what peoples thoughts are whether I should allow them to do this or not?

Hello, welcome to the forum

If I recall, the consensus was avoid!

Why allow them to potentially mess up your car with the software update & air flow device.

They are getting paid, you get nothing.

Your car runs OK, passes MOT,s. That is all that you want is it not.

I am surprised that a 2016 car requires the VW Fix. It shouldn't.
