Its is, interestingly I charged the battery today, cleared to faults with the engine running and so far they havent returned. Previously if I cleared them and ran it again the faults would come back.

I'm going to get a new key coded to my Skoda Octavia 1.6TDI 2016. While there the dealer wants to do an emissions update to the ECU which I presume is the Campaign 23AX mentioned in old posts. Just wondering what peoples thoughts are whether I should allow them to do this or not?

Looking a bit 50/50 but I'd assume you do need activation of smartlink otherwise why pay £200 for it.

Do these dongles need smartlink activated?
