Let me know if they're any good if you don't mind.

Standard HU?

Standard HU?

Yep std HU with amp to power sub.

Are these better than the standard fit in say Elegance/vRS models of the Fabia, or are they those that bring it up to the same spec?

Well fitted one of the speakers yesterday so I can compare the 2. Well never fitted the tweeter as the fit must be slightly different between the polo and fabia.

Result. Sound is alot more clearer compared to the std ones. No incease in bass but alot clearer, more controlled. Can handle volume 40 with bass 8 fine unlike the std ones. So far happy with it. Need to find away of fitting the tweeters now.

The speakers themselves look alot better built compared to the paper std ones.

Where did you buy them - VW dealer? Part codes etc?

Thanks

ebay :D

I'll post the part codes up tomorrow. Not sure if their the same as the skoda ones.

Well just fitted the speaker in the drivers side plus the tweeter. Tweeter are a bit of a tight fit.

Result. Much better. Well worth the £90 from a VW dealer (not that I paid that.) Where the std speakers start to distort these keep on goes. Tweeters have a much nicer sound. Lot less treble.

Part number is 6Q0 051 608A

Load rating: 40/80 watts (assume its 40wrms)

Frequency response 30-22Khz
