Rear wiper motor

Featured Replies

Ive been having problems with my back washer jets not spraying water. Anyway after a few months of getting annoyed, I finally decided to have a look at why it wasnt working. (Many Thanks to all the posts on here for the help)

Anyway it turns out im getting water to the back but there is some sort of spindle that comes from the motor to the jet and thats snapped. (Are you still following? :P )

Now Im no mechanic, so I assume I will have to replace the whole motor as it is connected to it. Does anyone know how much these rear motors cost or if I can "borrow" one from another car?

Ive done a search on here without much luck. My car has now gone out of warranty and I just know ill end up going to Skoda and being told something and believing it and get ripped off.

Any help you have would be good.

Cheers

I recently bought one of these from a skoda dealer.... £76  easy to fit but be careful not to over tighten the nut attaching the arm otherwise you will have to spend £76 on another motor!!!!!

Other than this.... very easy to fit :D

or you could look for one in a scrapyard!

If its just the jet that has snapped off you can get a small screw and wind it down the hole into the rest of the jet, pop is out and put a new one in, costs a couple of quid.

is that from skoda?

Yup. It isnt allwys possible to get the jet out as they can get corroded in there but its worth a go.
