My Octavia is missing the plastic handle to lift the boot floor, does anyone know if I can buy this separately either online or from Skoda direct? All my searches just come back with boot liners

What year is your Octavia ? My 2016 has a strap not a handle at the bumper end of the boot floor

its 2018, i have the strap on the boot lid but it looks like to me there should be a handle to lift the floor atm theres just a hole cut out in the carpet to lift with

My 2017 estate has a perforation that you have to press in in order to be able to lift up the boot

I guess you mean this bit in the middle of the variable height boot floor?

Is it just on the variable floor? I just have the regular non-adjustable floor but this seems like its just the regular floor and has a handle

Variable floor = handle

Carpet floor (under the variable) = “handle” is a hole cut into the carpet

Yes, my previous Octavia had the VBF and a handle, but my current Octavia doesn't have the VBF and just has a fabric strap.

Ok thanks everyone. I guess just having the hole is normal then. Hopefully the pup doesn't chew up the hole too much before my boot liner arrives 😅
