I would also like just a pain mesh debadged grill does anyone know a UK place that sells the whole kit?

Also going to try upgrade the engine with this

This upgrade is designed as first stage turbo upgrade for all 150 and 180 bhp 1.8T's

This is a modified K04 Turbocharger which has been specially developed by Turbo Dynamics and The Derv Doctor LTD as an entry level "Bigger" Turbo conversion for the 150 or 180 BHP 1.8T.

The turbo is based on the reliable and potent K04 turbocharger but the internals have been extensively modified it to provide much superior power and driving characteristics.

Teamed up with a Custom Code re-map, Full Milltek exhaust system, Forge Motorsport FMIC, a set of up-rated injectors and a 3" MAF housing; Your 150/180bhp 1.8 20v Turbo will produce up to around 290 bhp.

Has anyone else got that kind of bhp out of a vrs?

Any buyers tips?

Whats the highest milage someone has seen on a vrs and do they have any problems when they go about the 100k mark?

Thanks for any advice

Power upgrade yes  You shouldnt have any problems with that power upgrade, there are a few people running similar or more power than that on here. Mine has just hit 93k and still drives fantastically!

That body kit is most definately not to my taste though :thumbdwn:

You can get the grill from Milotec.

:)

Hmmmmmm

With THAT body kit, you will wan't to buy a Paxo or a Mk3 escort m8 :)

I admit im not too keen on the front bumper but like the skirts and spolier.

Whats the most anyone has pushed the 1.8T to and how many miles they run on it?

One of the guys who works at Jabba has / had one with 140k miles on it or there abouts and was pushing 340bhp iirc

Improve the dynamics and leave the looks as standard, in my opinion.

Less is more ;)

Awful looking!!! Go for it!

Why buy a vRS and the bodykit it?? Dont do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But power mods is a big YES YES

That bodykit is horrible. The vRS looks nice as std, leave it well alone.

They body kit looks f**king awful. You can do a few nice mods to the standard body, eg body colour the grill surround and replace the grill with mesh and upsize the rear spoiler.

Save your money on that bodykit and go get upgraded ARBs, Nice dump valve, a CAI and a proper remap with the money you will save. You could also lower the car slightly or fit Koni FSD shocks to bring the handling up even more :)

Nothing on the road in a similar price bracket will be able to touch you no matter how much body kit they hang off it.

I agree on the body kit looking awful - I think it looks 10x better as standard.

Go for the engine mods though m8 :)

cheezemonkhai: Do you know of any images of a gill like that as thats the part i hate most about skodas :)

Anyone know how a 2.5 V6 MG ZS 180 holds up against a standard vrs?

The vRS should have the edge. :)

Larger rear spoiler:

And this appears to be the limit of what you can push one too with some work, but a search on here will give you more sensible and acievable figures :) :

Hope they help they were all found by doing a few searches on here.

No you dont want that bodykit, trust me. ;)

You buy a new one silver or use your old one and get it painted.

I don't think it is very expensive either from what others have said.

Looks far better than that body kit, and will suprise the **** out of the saxo brigade when they see you storm past their cars in what looks somewhat tasteful.

Wolf in sheeps clothing and all that ;)

I'm tempted to get it done, it looks much better like that imo
