Can someone clify what exactl a service involves

Is it just the oil filter and oil change ? What else do they charge 200 pounds for?

Also why is a service needed periodically regardless of the miles you ve driven.

If you do 20k a year, you can defer the "annual inspection" until the 20k service and just have a lube (oil and filter) service at 10k. Infact in general mechanical terms cars with extremely low mileage are usually in poorer condition than higher mileage cars. Cars liked to be used.
