a big Hi to everyone,

Just joined the ranks of Superb owners with a 1.9 Tdi 03 plate with full leather & Sat Nav. Bit of a suprise purchase wasn't really looking fot one but it caught my eye took it for a spin and wa hooked and the deal was done. Then thought better see what I've let myself in for and started to read your forum (wrong way round admitedly but I've always been one for impulse buys)

That's when I went through the emotions of thinking cool my car comes with an umbrella having read an earlier thread only to rush out to my car to find the previous owner has had it away !

Not only that the sod kept the Sat Nav disc :thumbdwn: anyone got an iso image ?

Other than that I'm really chuffed with my buy.

Must say this is a really good forum - someone asks a question and there's 2 or 3 quick replies up, a credit to everyone on the forum and also very good piece of mind when the inevitable happens and you need somewhere to ask the question

You should be able to contact the previous owner. Your dealer and DVLA with have the details

I'd get an updated disc anyhow, chances are it was out of date anyhow. Did you buy it from a dealer or private?

I take it the disc isnt in the headunit then?

It was from a Skoda dealer but not a big one - little out in the sticks banjo playing kinda one.

I'll keep a watch on ebay though they all seem to go for big money. I was just looking about to get hold of one quick to make sure the system is ok.

I just fitted my dension ipod icelink unit and everything looks ok when I had the unit out so guess it's hands in pocket time....again :thumbdwn:
