2023 Enyaq iV80

I have a small dent in the tailgate. There is a local business which will come out and remove dents like these - he is very good, I've used him before.

The problem will be he will want the interior trim removed so he can get at the dent from the inside …

How do I remove the trim, please?

There is usually a couple of self tapper screws (maybe inside the 'handle' in the trim if your car has this?
Then they just require a firm pull to release the trim spring clips.

I would have thought the person doing the repair would remove and refit the trim as part of the job?

Hopefully but the couple of times I've used him has been near wheel arches so no trim removal necessary. I want to be sure that if/when he turns up, if he doesn't know how to remove the trim, I can do it.

Why don't you ask him if he knows how to remove trim?
