Air conditioning not working

Featured Replies

Hi all

2017 Superb here.... had it regassed last year (although it was working, I thought it needed a check/service) and drive year round with the A/C button lit up. Come to it today (bit of unusual sun warmed it up!), and there was zero cold air from the vents. I've driven 75 miles and it was the same throughout. When I got home, I switched the A/C button on and off there was no change in tone in the engine / increased load.

I've had a good search through here and can't find much in the way of "what can I check".

Thanks

Si

You can scan for fault codes with climate control system just in case there’s anything lurking. Otherwise I would take it to an AC Specialist and get them to check the pressure of the system. May be that you have a pinhole in condenser or some other part of the system and the gas has escaped over the winter.

Got the local AC specialist booked (same guys who regassed it a couple of years ago) to run the diagnostic checks.
