Hi my current entertainment system runs MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0359T is it worth updating to a newer version? Mainly asking since my andriod auto keeps dropping out

It's a fabia monte Carlo 2016, and the system is a bolero

Hi, I don't know if anyone can help. I have a 2015 Fabia MK3 estate 1.4tdi with an early Bolero infotainment unit (5Q0035820) which doesn't have smartlink. I understand that the glove box module needs to be replaced with a later Bolero or Amundsen unit, the replacement unit would have to have component protection removed. Is this something that anyone could help with? Many thanks
