lovely colour too- i'm a big fan of the superb-certainly puts the pi$$hat in its place;)[/quote']

LOL, I just now wonder what it would look like with the tailgate smoothed completely and the number plate moved to the bottom of the bumper? Hint, hint!!

Didn't get much choice on the colour when I bought it as I bought it 2nd hand but it's grown on me!!

I had the strips colour coded on my red Leon and it looked loads better. If you set on the strips going, you could try spraying them first and remove them if you dont like the look. Mask it off and get some spray cans. Personall, I would use the money and get a remap

Keep the badges... show off how good skoda is

There are no clips to grind off on the Superb, as you can see from my pics (hopefully) the side strips just stick on with double sided tape, there is a groove and some locating holes that would need to be filled though.

I just had to replace one of the strips, and as you can see, saltdean garage made a very poor repair of the accident damage they caused when the car was nearly new, it was hidden under the strip so untill it got damaged you couldn't tell the dodgy repair was there.

The non chrome strips are

Remap or maybe a Dragon Box, we well see what happens.

thats what i was thinking-looks like a chrysler 300lm or summat like that, but hey, thats what he asked for....

cheers for the comment:thumbup:

I like the wide smooth relocated number plate look - can someone finish of the photoshop with removed bump strips on the doors too... :D

Perhaps some new "c" style lights with tint would really finish it off... he he.

Mate I like what you have done there and I think that the flushed tailgate looks great!!

I probably wouldn't achieve the section in bumper for the tailgate, I would just apply the numberplate?

I like the look though but

It's never too much mate!!!

Love the yanks really!!!

Yeah, those are the lights... but I want SUBTLY tinted ones.

To achieve the effect on photoshop - the thin red strips - decolour them. Then tint the whole light. :D

Would love to mate but I am not the 'artist' here, LOL!!

Bump-Strip-Less and Badge-Less looks pretty good! Not as plain as I thought it would be. Nice work on the Photoshop guys.

But I have to say, relocated numberplate is taking it too far.

Dave H - They aren't badges mate they are LED Side Markers

What are they then fella, reflectors for side-on?

I think it look's great as it is:thumbup:

Have you considerd fitting the 'Highline' bump strips in stead? (the ones with the chrome strip on the top of the black bits)

As I said mate, LED Side Markers!?!?!?

They come on with your sidelights and look a little something like this at night when illuminated (although the pics aren't that clever):

They are designed as a safety feature for when your pulling out of driveways or turnings, so people can see you, if you look at lorries and vans they have them all down the side of them so other road users can judge the length of the car.

Not everyone's taste But I like them and fit them to every car I own.

I have considered it mate but it costs a packet from the Dealers and I don't think that you get the same effect on a DIY job.

I am not that big a fan of chrome and don't have much on the car so that suits me fine.
