Quick question. I have a 2020 Matrix headlight and the numbers are 3V1941015D 3V1941016D. Sadly in an incident both are cracked and i want to buy used one. Hardly i found both and it was made in 2024 but the letters are not the same. (3V1941015E, 3V1941016E)

Is it plug and play if i buy the 2024 or do i need to code something?

Just looked the numbers up, both valid for S3, also shows those numbers as left hand drive versions. If you swap your modules over, it shouldnt need coding, but will deffo need alignment with workshop equipment. Not tried out my Beissbarth MLD 9000 on matrix lights yet,(bought cheap for retrofit of LED lights on T6 Vans) may get a chance if I buy the car I'm looking at next weekend. I can't find anything published why they wont fit on ETKA, PR numbers are the same for both. Always a bit of a gamble not using the same numbers, both numbers are valid so one may be a high and one a low version.

Yeah so i bought two headlights with new oem numbers (2023) the driver site works well but the passanger side not do the calibrazion when i turn on the engine. There is not a single error or code in vcds. I went with it to my dealership but they says to me that the calibration motor get bed inside it.

If they say its a motor, can you not swap it over from your cracked one?

Ive never seen a motor fail in an undamaged light, normally broken wires from moving the unit up and down, think Ive seen a tech bulletin for this but on Audi rather than Skoda.

Its clearly working so I would suggest the feedback signal wire could be broken which (if it is) will prevent the basic settings from setting correctly.

Do you mean that wire that one is it inside the headlight?

Yes. The solid wires drawn in the CFD for the headlight are actually normal wires.

So it will have a live an earth and a feedback to the module.

You can see the wires I'm talking about when he removes a module to check the seal. But obviously for the motor instead.

I am going to watch it tomorrow. What if it is have component defense?
