How to lock keys inside?

Featured Replies

I often have a need to lock the car but leave the keys inside and use the manual unlock to get back in. This might be when I go diving or swimming and have nowhere safe to store the key but also don’t want to take it in the water with me.

I’ve tried doing this by turning off KESSY, which mostly works except when I do unlock alarm goes off.

No hadn’t considered that as a solution. Is that why the alarm hies off - because the keys are inside?

Why do you bother with the physical key? The Skoda app has remote locking / unlocking function.

If the situation requires you not to take your electronic key, why would you take a tablet or smart phone with you?

App doesn't offer this functionality on older mk 4's, mine from 2020/21 isn't supported
