Does any one elses centre console vibrate?

Featured Replies

On my Diesel PD 130, the centre console vibrates and makes an annoying noise at certain revs. Usually at idle, or when the revs are quite low.

I'm wondering if I can get this looked at (under warranty), or if it's to be expected with a diesel because of the vibration from the engine.

Mine does on occasion, depends on the exact position of the arm rest, but it's not all the time.

Haven't noticed it......will have to see later

To be honest, I think my first Superb did this (PD130). I think I notice things more on this car as it's mine, whereas the 04 reg Superb was a company car.

I can bet you money that if it is looked at under warranty it will come back with more creaks and rattles once they have ripped it out and put it all back in again!!

mine's just started. i put it down to it working a bit loose somewhere post remap. not been irritated enough to take bits out, put in strips of black sticky draft excluder and screw it down again yet.

it's the MK4 golf problem all over again...

Mine did, until I realised it was the iPod that was in the pop out pocket underneath the armrest. I realised this after taking the centre console apart! Doh!

Mine didn't until I took it into the garage to have the coin holder replaced.... now it vibrates merrily!
