Pick up my Fabia RS on Saturday - should I wait a while before I chip it or can it be done straight away??

Greg (Mr Peck) had his remapped from new although Mike at Jabba said he shold come back after around 5k miles so he have another go.....circa 180bhp, 300+Nm.....do think Greg's been back yet.
