I see ppl talk about this "maxidot" , and wounder what is it? could someone explain me?, i dont now if i have it on my car:confused:

It's a screen in between the speedo and rev counter that displays a lot more information than the standard display.

I think you get radio information and can change a few more settings for the car rather than just having the normal warning lights there

Maxidot is a small display on the dash which shows basic info about the car -

Trip computer , time , outside temp, low fuel warning , etc. theres also a menu which allows you to tailor things like metric / imperial measurements and speed warning.

Its a worthwhile option @

It also has a speed warning function, you can alter the indicators from three flashes to a single flash as well.

The brightness auto adjusts depending on outside light levels as well.

You have convinced me now, i have maxidot to, i remember some days ago then i tryed to replace my mainbeam with xenonkit, and after some time the display come with an message "maninbeam on the left side dosent work", very useful imformation i think, so thanks agian

Hi, I've got a Scout with Maxi-dot display. Have anyone got a full usermanual for the "settings". I do not understand what all the different settings mean. Would be really glad for some help... Thanks

Some people have changed their car due to not having Maxidot.....

Hope this isn't a stupid question, would this fit into a vRS SE?

The controls are on the wiper stalk - a rocker switch on the end and a button on the underneath.
