Octy vRS immobiliser..

Featured Replies

is it Thatcham approved?

Any clues much appreciated.

Yes.

Category 2 old boy ;)

And standard fit

Hence your insurer (or prospective insurer) should not need to ask if it's fitted, or for a certificate. If they do, they clearly have no idea what they're talking about :)

I needed to know in order to get my Mountain Bike insured - just in case it ever gets nicked from the car, there has to be a Thatcham approved immobiliser and/or alarm fitted. Thanks gents once again.

A silly question but......how is a car immobiliser going to stop your bike from being nicked from it??
