Leaving the VRS Fold

Featured Replies

Had the VRS for a year and a half now and have decided to sell up and move on as it's not quite big enough for what I need (grandkids etc.). Very sad to see it go as I would say overall it is the best car I've ever had. No faults, excellent build quality and for the price outstanding performance.

Dragon box and PD 160 intake are on ebay.

I have had faster cars but as I said as a complete package the VRS is hard to beat. I'll have to limit myself to the bike for performance thrills as I am buying a Zafira (don't laugh and I know you can get the gsi but I'm going for a 1.8).

This site has been a fantastic source of information and help and long may it live. Hopefully the new VRS will not be plagued by the 06 stutter as I'm sure this will have spoiled the experience for alot of first time skoda guys.

You never know I might come back someday.

Best of luck with the new Zafira.

Hope it doesn't come supplied with those awful child actors either!

Drive safely out there!

Vauxhall cars are OK ...just don't take it anywhere near a Vauxhall dealer.....they are terrible ..if it wasn't broke before it goes in they will break it.

Did just over 500,000 miles in various Astras over the years and never once found a good dealer.......got an independant mobile service guy in the end ....no trouble after that

I must admit, the Vauxhall dealer in Castleford is OK, not the best but as long as I pointed out exactly what was wrong they would fix it.
