Skoda Used Car Warranty

Having read the posting from Dave36 regarding his warranty, I received exactly the same response from the dealer that supplied our used Superb last year - ie they didn't want to know unless we paid to have the problem investigated. After speaking to Skoda it seems that there is no actual approved warranty for the used cars sold as Skoda Approved - the individual garage can use any warranty company that they wish.
