Do you think i can claim?

Claim against who?!

Chris

Claim? Not a chance. Sadly its a hazard of driving that sometimes there will be obstructions. Unless something had a company label on it? But even then, I don't think there's anything that can be done.

On my way to work on Monday morning, a white fiat uno in front of me on a rural road (national speed limit), either shed something, or ran over something...which took flight behind them. I hit the brakes and moved into the other lane (but had to get back quickly - cars coming!) and it tagged me on my offside headlight and bonnet. A hudge gash in the bonnet, and a shattered headlamp protector! Lucky me. £120.00 to have fixed.

When I was a kid, we were going up to my parents place in Wales. I remember hearing a loud bang noise, lookin gdow and seeing a screwdriver poking up through the floor of the Talbot Alpine

What do you expect, they were made from cardboard weren't they ? ;)

Probably a miner checking the ceiling of the pit was OK a little too enthusiastically :)

Recently my dad had to avoid a large plank of wood lying on the M56. A friend also had her front bumper cut into two pieces when a wheel trim came off a car coming the other way and flew into the front of her car. There are a lot of obstacles around, just have to keep your eyes open and wits about you! If it's anything significant it's worth telephoning the police about it. You may have missed it, but the old lady peering over the steering wheel might not - I know I wouldn't be able to have that on my mind, I always report that sort of thing (or if safe deal with it myself).

At the beginning of this year i had a near miss. I was driving up the A21 from hastings at about 10pm i was only a few miles out of town when i saw a really weird white shape hovvering in the gloom at windscreen height on my side of the road. As i got closer and started slowing down i saw a glint 2 feet to the right of it. After a couple of seconds i realised it was a COW!!!! Stood side on my side of the road with a white patch on it's side and a rather wet nose! I swerved onto the other side of the road to miss it and round the wrong side of a traffic island (thankfully there was no-one else on the road at the time. The dumb thing just stood there and watched me drive off up the road.

cows eh......

When come back bring pie..... W*nker ;)

(You need to have seen the cows and other links for that to make sense)

I had one of those slow motion moments when I was overtaking a Merc...

As I started overtaking I saw something glint off his front wheel, not a hub cap, a big metallic stone! I watched it gracefully arc towards my car - my mind at the time was going "ooow! That's pretty."

It hit straight in the middle of my window screen causing an inch wide bullseye which left me momentarily dazed, having backed off the power and realising that - I was in fact performing an overtaking maneouvre and not collected pebbles on a beach - I booted the car passed the Merc.

I have also got Wood Pigeon induced damage on the roof of my current Fabia!

Another weebl and bob fan.... cool!!!!

Once saw (and nearly hit!) a full pallet of bricks in the middle lane of the M6 with a builders van & trailer reversing p the hard shoulder.

****ing idiots :finger:
