flaming halfords mcgard bolts.

went this morning too halfords to get Mcgard wheel locks for my skoda alloy wheels.i looked at the book,it says for orignal skoda alloys get 28028.

at home take out the old bolt then try too put the new mcgard bolt in but it wouldn't go in :mad: :mad:

which bolts shall i get ?

28018 is the number you need their books are wrong. Bought some today and was told this by their manager.

i think the mcgard has a diffrent thread ,i just put a bolt in and tried to screw it in but didn't connect.

The ones you were given are a couple of mm too small.

got the 28018 today,just put them on and they fit like a glove !!

Theyre Muppets. Dont bother with them. I went in a couple of weeks ago to get a new indicator bulb. I asked a lad in the store which one fits a Skoda Fabia and he sold me one that was wrong. I now know that I need offset pins and not square. Muppets!!
