Why not look at getting a connects2 interface for the standard head unit I have one and recommend it. Cost £55 from halfrauds.

At the same time you can buy the pre-out cable for the std headunit to enable you to coonect external amps. £12

Those subs sound like a great deal! I will look out for that for sure.

I have been thinking about the ipod cable for the standard head unit so might go down that route and possibly add external amps but personally I feel it might just be easier to upgrade the whole thing!
