Ipod - videos clips

Featured Replies

Can anybody suggest any software that will allow video clips i.e.youtube etc.. to work on ipod with video or can they just be downloaded without the need for any?

I'm no expert, but I spent a few hours pulling my hair out with one of these little blighters a couple of weeks ago, setting it up for a customer.

You can't (as far as I know) download videos from YouTube, you have to view them from their site. Probably why Google paid so much for it

There might well be a hack that someone knows of though.

As for other video, Quicktime is apparently the best way to prepare videos for iPod use.

There's a reasonable article on the subject here

:)

If you can get hold of a little program called ImToo iPod converter, it will do the job for you. Basically converts video files to a file the ipod can display. They also do an ImToo DVD ripper which will allow you to rip DVD's to an ipod playable file.
