Where to buy ?

Featured Replies

Hello all,

After having compared a lot about different models and match the result with my needs, I'm now looking for an Octavia Elegance 2.0TDI Estate.

I've checked the price of used cars (max 2 years old) and I'm not sure what should be the best price to pay, in other words is it overpriced or not. I don't know all the websites to check value based on age and mileage.

Then I compare with the online companies proposing good price for brand new skoda.

Would you recommend those kind of websites to order a car ? or is it better to stay with a dealer ? Any real experience with this kind of service ?

Would you prefer a new car (with discount using the latter service) or a recent used car at a dealer ?

Any advice is welcome as I was not really interested in cars before. Skoda made me change my mind about cars :-)

Thanks to all of you for making what this forum is: a useful resource and nice place to request help !

Boris

Hi Boris,

Try Parker's for price advice (a bit like Glass's Guide).

I also looked a the used car site on Skoda's UK website to compare prices of different Fabia vRS's when I bought my used one a month ago, as you can type in which model your interested in, colour, price and mileage etc..
