De-locking drivers door...

Featured Replies

How hard is it to de-lock the drivers door?

Anyone done this?

Relatively easy. Couple of parts and 2 star headed screws.

Look at the drivers door with it open. You will see two rubber covers just above the latch. Remove them. Take out the top screw. Undo the bottom one by about 12-15 turns. DO NOT REMOVE IT or you will have real trouble! You should then be able to remove the lock from the outside. As I say, fairly straight forward. Do a search on here, I had trouble with my central locking and someone linked to a good guide. You don't need to remove the door card or anything, just the bits I mentio n above. Try searching on posts by me with help in them.
