I would like to thank the members of Briskoda for getting me hooked (You Ba*****s) just finished putting lanzar components in the front of the octavia. Work carried out using the scientific method of having the wifes car with main beam on so I could see what I was doing. Had one slite problem that was getting the tweeters on the plastic covers I ended up super glueing them. Not sure how long they will last has any one else had similar problems and if so how did you overcome them (was thinking of getting a new set of trims and drilling them for a flush mount tweeter) ?

PS contributions are welcome for my credit card bill

i once fitted a set of components in a lunch break, suffice to say i ran over a little !

re the tweeters, how difficult is it to remove the OE covers and fit a new set? i.e. as part of an aftermarket component package.

Only the amateurs Q, us Pro's have all the right toys ;)

I had a nice system fitted to my Octavia RS a couple of years ago by ICE Direct in Peterborough

They glued the tweeters in as well - must be the way to do it!!

I used hot melt glue for the tweeters in my brother's install. He hasn't complained so I'm assuming they are still in place.

Just used hot glue too much better then super glue as it gives a bit of flex
