Do you have access to VAG-COM to check for any fault codes involving central locking?

yer i have vag-com i wasent aware you could check unless the light come on would it still log a fault then if the fuse keeps blowing

VAG-COM logs faults involving the various ECUs - which includes the Central Convenience controller (Address 46). Have a check.
