Remap for 2.5 tdi?

Featured Replies

I was asked buy a friend with a 2.5 tdi if it's possible to get a remap.

I can't see anything on Revo or Jabba websites, any help please.

I'd get your friend to give the tuners a ring, fairly sure they'll be able to sort something out :)

Custom Code or Chipboost.com will be able to sort you out.

Thanx everyone,I'll tell 'im

Anyone know if the remap on the 2.5 helps mpg at all?

I know if it's driven hard it won't but on the 1.9's, driven sensibly, mpg seems to be better.

Ben.

Mine improved slight, by about 2 mpg. But my journeys are a stop/start.

Interesting. Car will be a taxi but do mainly airport trips. Just trying to convince my self to get the 2.5 instead of the 1.9.

2.0 tdi looks like a non starter with the problems there having.

Ben.

As long as you are not clogging the 2.5, my best return was 52.6 mpg on a Motorway journey. It was doing about 60mph average due to traffic volume. I usually average about 43-46mpg on motorways when doing a steady 70. Getting a little more toasty with the right boot can return as low as 38mpg.

For a taxi, I reckon the 1.9 maybe better for mpg, but the 2.5 is built as the ideal motorway cruiser. So smooth, and the mid range torque is excellent for over taking. I dont think the 1.9 could match that. Its no vRS, but since Skoda dont make a Superb vRS, I'm building my own.
