Recently won these on ebay

Just got the good one up and running today, put Win98SE on it. Runs really well, battery has lasted two and a half hours so far and still has 47% of charge remaining, according to the indicator in windows:eek:

Only one small problem is that the top two rows of keys are not working, so will probably need a new keyboard at some point. I just used a proper keyboard plugged in the back of the laptop to get windows set up.

The other laptop needs some work and i am going to be taking it apart to try and fix where the power socket is on the motherboard as it is wobbly.

So far though it looks like a bargain.

Seem good. I got a thinkpad for £30 cash locally. Seems to be very reliable and it runs XP Pro ok. Keyboard, mouse, CD etc is all good - It just has a rubbish battery so I'm looking at getting a fag lighter power-pack for it. I'm only ever going to use it in the car anyway.
