I have a 2003 Octavia Elegance diesel estate and am having trouble with the lights in the boot and the dashboard light indicating 'open door'. Even though the boot door is firmly closed, the boot lights stay on and the dashboard display says that the boot is open. It is probably only an adjustment, but I cannot find the electric contact nor can I see how to adjust theclosure mechanism. Probably very simple, but...

there is probably a micro type switch on the tailgate latch that has gone faulty
