Route planners

Featured Replies

Well, as it's January sales I've been looking at replacing my trusty map of the UK with a sat nav solution but there's quite a few out there and I need one which not only works out a good route from A to B, but also allows me to pre-plan a route and pick the roads I want to travel (eg, along some nice B roads, etc, etc) that I can upload/share with others. I already have Mappoint 2006 on my PC so if it was compatible with that, that would be a bonus, but not essential :D

I'm guessing for this a PDA-based system may be best.... Any suggestions or recommendations?

Chris

if you want to chose your own route, then the latest microsoft autroute might be best, as I'm sure there is a program that comes with it that you upload to a pda that acts like tomtom, and all you need to sort out is the gps
