After more or less 10 years as a BMW-owner I have decided to go for Skoda for the next two or three years. I have ordered a new Octavia 2.0tdi dpf DSG L&K estate and it's due for production week 8. Hopefully delivered to me in Norway just a few weeks later.

It will be in Satin Gray met, a new colour for the Octavia. I have never seen this colour irl and would appreciate if someone have a picture or a link to a picture of a Octavia in this colour.

What I fear most about changing make is going from RWD to FWD, but hopefully I'll learn to enjoy my new frontweel-driven car.

I have already learned a lot from BRISKODAs forums and hopefully I will be able to contribute as soon as my new car has arrived.

Thanks guys. I don't think the link shows Satin Gray, it is supposed to be lighter. But it might as well be the photos beeing a bit to dark, who knows?

The BMW is now three years old and it's a E46 316i Touring, pretty standard regarding equipment. I paid approx 25.000 GPB.

The Octavia has a more powerfull engine, lots and lots of more equipment (L&K & DSG) and I have to pay approx 28.500 GPB when it's ready for delivery in the end of March.

Cars are very expensive in Norway, but what can we do...
