Hi Everybody..

I am from India.. I brought Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDI (Rider) recently...

I was bit amzed when I learned that Car can talk to the computer .. I didn't wasted time brought one cable from ebay.. also downloaded VAG-COM from RossTech .. connected to Car .. learned many new things which I was not familiar with...

No need to say these forums helped me a lot in terms of understanding what people around the world is doing with their cars :-) , also many technology (offcourse car related) stuffs..

In India we have difficulty in terms of Skoda workshops - people are not skilled and they are few in numbers .. Also I had bad experience with the Skoda dealers at my end... That's the other reason why I want to experiment with car rather than spending money for a cause which is not known to me...

Hello everyone I decided to update my 2014 Skoda Octavia to a newer age. First changed the MIB1 to MIB2, and then decided to add a rear view camera (there are other projects on the way like MFK1 to MFK2). I want to tell the story so someone else does not make the same mistakes I did. My Skoda never had a camera, so I bought one from a scrapyard, a 3V0827566N without the wiring harness, it scrapped with the body. But since I had no wiring I needed a harness, contacted Skoda Parts, got no concre

Prepping to do 2.0TSi clutch in future - plenty of time and opportunity as I mentioned recently I have a 1.8T L&K Octy also ! I'd seen a comment at some point someone recommending to change rear main seal whilst you are in there. Something to watch for? Also as below

One of the scourges of Greek roads are abandoned motorcycles. Hi! I'm in need of some help please. My Octavia estate sat for 8 months unused. The battery went flat (AGM Varta) and doesn't charge. I got the car started with a different battery and then swapped in the dead battery to see if it would start charging. BUT, now the engine was running I needed to move the car a bit and found that the gear stick won't go into reverse gear. It can select 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th but not reverse. I've ordered up a new AGM battery (due in a couple of days) but this reverse
