I did this while in Bristol last time. :( Parking up, put my front left into a sloped gutter and the kerb was angled out and took some good chunks out of my wheel on 2 spokes.

Was lucky enough to get a new alloy off Ebay for £45. Cheaper than a refurb and less hassle. Just waiting to change front tyres, then the new wheel will go on and the other may be refurbed or just kept as a spare.
