Radar Detector

Featured Replies

With the imminent delivery of my FABIA VRS and the astonishingly cheap chipping options I have available to me, I thought it'd be wise to invest in some sort of camera/radar detection gadget.

My problem is there are so many available and I'm having difficulty selecting one. I've heard good things about the Cyclops and OrginB (I think that's what it's called) but does anyone have any recommendations?

Cheers

If I had to buy one tomorrow I'd buy the Origin B2.

I've had the Geodesy Morpheus plus, a Road Angel and now the Origin B2.

I liked the Geodesy. Very simple, very basic and it worked. After 18 months I "upgraded" to the Road Angel. Didn't really get to grips with it after the Geodesy and it is quite a big unit (relatively speaking). Swapped a month or so back to the Origin. Love it.

Currently running a RoadAngel, but if I was looking again now I'd probably concur with Jon and get the Origin B2.

Rob.

Adrian (SkodiRS) was looking to set up a group buy on the Origin B2 recently (have a look in the Group Buys forum). If you can wait a couple of months this may well get resurrected.

I have the Bel Euro 550 - apparently detects everything - also detects the odd garage door but on the whole gives good performance with a HUGE amount of time between going mad and getting to the camera that set it off. Only trouble is was the fact it was a bit pricey.

Check out the Group Buy forum......a few prices in there fo rthe various device. Be aware though that these are not the latest prices and may actually have gone up now.

Was looking into organising a GB but needed at least 5 people...originally we only had 3.

OB2 is probably the best. Ddi find it for
